 Awg. Naim, sama kami mengail dapat ikan kerapu ampir 1kg di bawah jeti. dalam perahu karam, umpan udang mati.

 Ikan kerapu C-Naim yang kedua, tampat yg sama. Best la tampat tu.... 

 Cdan datang, dalam beberapa minit dapat ikan Takat dan ikan Ketambak 2 ekor.

 DD ayung, ampir mabuk laut... kapal berayun dipukul ombak. Yusuf memasang umpan.

 Sebelum balik, Yusuf dapat ikan Kapas kapas.

The Stik dapat 5 ekor ikan Sumpit2 dan ikan Kalakitok.

After one hour... here it is, ikan kurisi, ikan Anduping and Kapas kapas. Semua kami pakai udang mati ampir expired....

Back home after 1.5 hour. Mangrove Crab, katam kalok caught just before packing home.

There a pair of Otters, Memerang swimming near the water edge.

This afternoon its Shahdan day. Experienced Angler, share his tips and knowledge of angling to me.

 Shahdan caught his first catch, Ikan Ketambak. 

 His Second one, Ikan Kalakitok.

 His last catch before we went home. Mangrove Crab, Ketam Kalok.

All his, at the end same all mine too. Semua yg nampak ani ulih Shahdan, ia tah rezeki ku jua akhir atu...Ikan ketambak, Umpak, Kalakitok, & Jungkang.  Thank you Shahdan for sharing tips, hooks & experience to me. Ps- (Cdan: Mana cAmir tu kan melawan ngail di sini..?, konon tampat biasa nya sudah ni... (The Stik: masih ia kraja ni, sampai kul 530... Nanti ku cerita arah nya....)

Fishing Spot 

The Stik & DD went here for the first time accompanied by Cpian & Ning, and then Paten & Inzul came later. Me & DD went back home early, could not bear the sun heat, muddy feet, mud smell, and no fish caught after casting with a frog lure after about half and hour or so. 

Other people have caught many fresh water prawns (Udang Galah) here too. 

It is a long way to go here by foot, from the back of my Mother's home in Keriam.

Popular Fishermen & Anglers Shop in Brunei.

Deep Blue Fishing Shop (Perniagaan Alat Perikanan Samudera) at Serusop, Berakas. I really like this shop, it has so many things for anglers & fishermen. They always give a reasonable, affordable & competitive price. They sell:

1. Rods (for surf/beach, marine, river etc.) I wish I could buy the telescopic surf rod (forgot the brand&model) cost around B$80/. 
2. Spools, various brands and sizes. My wish list include the Pioneer Surf 8000 around B$60.
3. Swivels, hooks, nets, lines, braids, lures, etc. There is a lot (Really A LOT to be written here).
4. Repair & service for spools & rods.
5. Some advice & tips from the sales personnels, etc. 

Since my fishing hobby is quite recent, I tend to go around places to shop to complete up my fishing equipments. Deep Blue Fishing shop always satisfy me when shopping there. Today is my 5th time shopping there since January. My family bought some lead sinkers, 3 way swivels and no.6 VMC hooks at a discounted price.

Business as usual at Queen Elizabeth's Jetty, Monday 14Feb2011.

Rasidi & Cpian trying to untangle their line and hooks from each other. Paten & Inzul just take a look, after they both caught a puffer fish. 

Two Archer (Ikan Sumpit-sumpit) fish caught with crickets as baits. Crickets bought from a pet shop. 

Local people seldom caught & eat the fish, but some say that those who eat them will become strong, as told from old folk story about the legend of Awang Semaun who become super strong after ate them. 

I (The Stik) personally like to eat them, not to believe it make me strong, but like the taste of it. Its delicious, similar to Black Pomfret fish (Ikan Duai Hitam), but it has a hard pointy bones. So you need to be extra careful when pinching out the meat.

(The Stik) Grouper (Kerapu) caught with a live shrimp bait. I usually caught it with a small fish bait.

 The Stik caught Ikan Kapas kapas.

 Cdan caught his popular fish of this day.... Puffer fish (Buntal) 7 times..!

Meanwhile same time this day, somewhere at the back of our Keriam-Tutong house there is Inzul, fishing at the Keriam freshwater river.
